How can i forget

I just forget to wish my lovely brother on his birth day. I did remember his birthday (19/12) .The day before that i was planing how to wish him.but on that day i forgot. How come,thats toooooooo BAD. I am far from him, but at least i can wish him... by a phone call or MSG or FB....right..!!!! i was wishing all frnds of mine on there birthday on FB.But by the time my lovely Bro Birthday came, yesterday i haven't even used internet. Can u imaging...!!!! Whats more important then wishing him.... i hate that i forgot it...
